Anuket
Bhaduri
So, you were curious enough to look me
up. Well, here it is, full of glitz and glamour. Then again, it may not be
quite that dazzling, but that’s ok with me. If you are interested matching any of
this up with my professional background or offering me large sums of money,
then make sure you check out my resume.
As you may have guessed my name is
Anuket Bhaduri, I also go by Abul and Anuk. I was born on November 17th in
Mumbai (Bombay), India. It’s been long enough that I no longer feel like
displaying a year in my date of birth. I lived in Sangeeta Apartments near Juhu
Beach in Santacruz for almost eighteen years and attended St. Lawrence High School
(Santacruz, West) and M.M.K Junior College (Bandra). During this time, I spent
numerous hours playing cricket, table tennis, football (soccer for the
Americans), watching movies, collecting stamps, blah, blah, blah, yadi yadi,
yadah. I have to mention that this is probably going to be a collection of
scattered thoughts and therefore quite redundant and I won’t be offended if you
chose not to read any further. Anyway, at eighteen, I headed to Bangor, Maine
(four hours north of Boston, in case you are wondering), USA to go to college
at the University of Maine in Orono. Maine is absolutely gorgeous and I met
some great people there. So much so that I pretty much consider it home. I
enjoyed my seven years in Maine and after finishing up with school, I moved to
Huntington Beach (Orange County, about 30 miles South of Los Angeles, in case
you are wondering again), California in 2003. I’ve lived here ever since,
attended California State University-Long Beach for my MBA and currently work
for Urban Science.
I’m married to my lovely wife Carleena
Stovall now Carleena Bhaduri. She is also a Maine graduate in Education and
Psychology. We have a beautiful daughter Aanyah (Feb 13th, 2004) and
a precious son Travan (Mar 2nd, 2007). I enjoy spending time with
these little ones. In fact, Aanyah recently said to me “Daddy, as a matter of
fact”. I can’t remember the rest, but I kept thinking that this kid is not even
five and she’s giving me “a matter of fact”, amazing, how quickly they grow. I
have one little sister, Tanuka, maybe not so little anymore. She is a major
pest (just kidding) and if you can imagine, we are still not over name calling
and fighting. My mom Dr. Esha Bhaduri is the absolute greatest, she is a
Professor of Economics and the Vice Principal of L.S. Raheja College of Arts
and Commerce (Santacruz West, Mumbai). Unfortunately my dad, the late Mr.
UdayKumar Bhaduri is no longer with us, but his memories will stay with me
forever. My grandmother Dr. Susmita Chatterjee continues to amaze the world
through hard work and resiliency, she still teaches at Husson Business College
in Bangor, Maine. I also want to mention my Aunt (Tilu Mashi) and my late Uncle
(Bhanu Mesho), they mean a lot to me. Although, I always resist having pets, I
admit that I might be a pet person. Currently, we have Duchess (Female Dog -
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and Cookie (Female Cat). I also have great
memories of my other pets Cosmo, Cherikoo, Casper, Doink, Precious, Dottie and
a few others.
You might be expecting a graceful
close to my rambling, but alas I’ve never been all that graceful. What I have
next is a questionnaire that I recently filled out and I think it pretty much
covers my likes, dislikes and interests.

visit in the future are England, Ireland, Japan, Egypt and UAE. Check out a map of my travels.
